Atlantic Center for the Arts
Atlantic Center for the Arts (ACA), an
interdisciplinary artist community in New Smyrna Beach, provides
mid-career artists with the opportunity to work with some of the world's
most distinguished contemporary artists in the fields of music
composition, literature, and performing and visual arts.

ACA serves the Central Florida community through
cultural events, classes and exhibitions. Its new 5,000-square-foot
Visitor Center & Gallery is ideal for cultural tour groups and community
programming. It includes an art gallery, the Jack Mitchell Portrait
Gallery, a gift shop and a self-guided Art & Nature Trail. The
award-winning Leeper Studio Complex features painting, sculpture, dance
and music/recording studios, a library, and black-box theater. The entire
facility sits on 69 acres of lush tropical vegetation and is surrounded by
2,200 acres of preserved wetlands, The Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve,
named in honor of ACA's founder.

Atlantic Center for the Arts is
open to the public year round, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday; and
in 2007 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
