One of the finest mineral collections in the United States, the Gillespie Museum offers a variety of exhibits to experience including precious and semi-precious gemstones and exquisite geometric shapes and unusual crystal formations. View exotic and rare minerals, petrified dinosaur bones and dazzling fluorescent mineral in a special dark room. Learn about Planet Earth and how it influences our lives.

Because the Gillespie Museum is staffed by Stetson University students, it is open when classes are in session.

Regular hours (September - May)
10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Tuesday - Friday

Summer hours (July - August)
By appointment only. Individuals are groups are welcome. Reservations are available and suggested for groups of 10 or more.
