Programs to challenge 7 - 12 years olds to think about
History, Innovation, Archaeology and Science with exciting and new
tools, games, lessons and locations.
DeBary Hall’s History Quest Travel back in time and discover what life was like 100 years ago
along the St. Johns River. We will be learning about daily life at
DeBary Hall and along the river by playing old fashioned games, making
turn-of-century toys, talking to historical characters, conducting an
archaeological dig, and learning about local history and archaeology.
Our week will end with an ice cream social featuring handmade ice
cream! DeBary Hall’s Invention Quest Seek the inventor in yourself! We will be learning all about
inventions- from the earliest inventors, to the inventions used to
modernize DeBary Hall through time to creating our own inventions. We
will be using historic, modern, and making our own materials to learn
how inventions make life easier. DeBary Hall’s Eco Quest People have been vacationing to Florida for over 100 years. Have
you ever wondered what makes Florida so unique? We will be exploring
Florida’s natural habitat and learning about the plants, animals, and
geographical features of the area we live in through outdoor
activities and scientific projects. DeBary Hall’s Game Quest Test your skill at a handful of different challenges and games from
yesterday, today, and tomorrow. We will play games that span across
the long timeline of gaming. Participants will learn problem-solving
and team-building skills while increasing their personal knowledge and
