Would you like to help save sea
turtles, or help injured birds, or open the eyes of a child to
wonders of marine life, or perhaps work with fish, corals and
aquariums?
If so, join us on to learn more
about the volunteer opportunities at the Marine Science Center. Tour
the Center and have the chance to see the inner workings of the sea
turtle and bird hospitals, our educational programs, and aquarium
maintenance. In addition, we will showcase opportunities to work in
other areas of the County’s environmental work including educating
the public about water conservation, assisting with watershed and
beach cleanups, and helping with stormwater education projects
The Marine Science Center could not
operate without the support of its vital corps of volunteers.
Whether your interest is in turtles, birds, fish, corals or other
marine life, the creatures that spark your imagination are here.
Whether your strengths are working with children, adults or
in-between, here you will find opportunity. Whether your desire is
to care for sick and injured animals and help them return to the
wild or to help people understand more about the world around them,
we have a need for you. Come and join us and make a difference in
your world.
