We provide guided day excursions in Central Florida. Our group of tours is called Adventure In Real Florida and within that we have 3 categories of tours: Safari Adventures, Enchanted Expeditions, and Survival Quest. Each of these categories then has specific tours within.
In our Safari Adventure tours, we have Seminole Safari, Safari Splash, and Wilderness Excursion. Safari Splash and Wilderness Excursion are the two tours in this group that would be within Volusia County.
Safari Splash is a day of hiking and swimming (lunch is included). Depending on the day and the number of people we have, we either use Blue Springs or Gemini Springs for the swimming. The hike can then be taken at either of these two parks or on Hontoon Island. The Wilderness Excursion is a day of hiking and a pontoon boat ride. We use St. Johns River Tours out of Blue Springs or from Highbanks Marina for the pontoon boat ride and the hike is either at Hontoon Island or at the state forest in Seminole County. Both of these tours include lunch, which is either provided at Highbanks, on the pontoon boat, or at Stacie's in Orange City.
As part of our Enchanted Expeditions tours we are working up a tour of old homes. We would have two in Seminole County to stop at then two in Volusia County (DeBary Hall and one in DeLand).
This tour is still in development, but we hope to have it operational before summer's end. We are also looking into using the Beresford Lady paddleboat as a possible excursion for senior outings. Our guides are very knowledgeable of wildlife, Florida's ecosystems, and the local history/lore. We practice responsible nature tourism, convey this to our visitors, and provide an exciting day experiencing the backcountry of Florida.
