Skydive DeLand
Skydive DeLand is the skydive training capital of the world. We offer training programs for all experience levels, from your first jump to the world class competition. We are supported by the most active professional instructors and coaches in the world. Our training programs include: Tandem, Accelerated Freefall, beginning relative work (one on one, two on one, etc.), relative work competition camps (4 way, 8 way, etc.), free style, sit flying, head down, sky board flying, style and accuracy, CRW, Tandem and accelerated Freefall Instructor training, and more. Most of the more standard programs are available everyday and some of the more specialized programs require pre-scheduling.
Our turbine aircraft fleet, modern facilities and friendly staff will contribute to help you make the most of your skydiving adventure. We are open 365 days a year, 8 a.m. until sunset.
Aircraft support, includes a Skyvan (tail gate exit), Twin Otter (air conditioned), additional Otters, and other aircraft as needed, and a Cessna 182, that produce more jumps than any skydiving center in the world.
The Drop Zone Gear Store is a full service supplier that can meet all your equipment needs and provide you with rigging services. You can order a new rig before you arrive or you can purchase gear, accessories, DZ clothing, and souvenirs from our wide selection while you are here. Much of the world’s leading equipment is made in DeLand. These manufacturers provide the highest level of support available anywhere and a full range of demo gear. We also have a good selection of rental gear.
Skydive DeLand has camping and a bunk house, with hot showers and laundry on the drop zone. Blue Sky Cafe is on the DZ and many more places to eat are nearby. We also have RV slots, with electricity and water. There is a good selection of hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, houses, and rooms convenient to the drop zone. Some have special skydiver discounts. Contact us for specific information about places to stay.
Learn to skydive: Skydive DeLand and our staff of the most experienced instructors in the world, offer two first jump options. You may choose to start with a tandem jump or go right into our freefall training program, known as AFF. These training methods are practiced throughout the world and both were developed right here in DeLand.
Recreational attractions are plentiful. We are located in one of the most popular tourist areas in the world. Besides great skydiving, you and your family or friends will enjoy other local attractions including: Disney World, EPCOT Center, Universal Studios, Kennedy Space Center, and Sea World. The world’s most famous beach, Daytona Beach with 26 miles of white sand, is just a half hour away.
